Indoor Monitors
Indoor Monitors are the in-unit devices installed inside an apartment, home, or office that receive calls from the outdoor Door Phone unit. They display live video of the visitor at the entrance and let the resident respond with two-way audio/video, remotely release the door lock, or divert the call to their mobile phone via the SmartPlus app if they're away. Most Akuvox Indoor Monitor models run on Android, giving them added flexibility such as support for third-party apps, integration with other smart-home systems, and the ability to display feeds from additional IP cameras on the same network. They come in various screen sizes, support multiple connection protocols including SIP, and some models also support intercom calling between different units within the same building.
Access Control
Akuvox's Access Control category covers devices and solutions built to manage and secure building entry points — including card readers, face-recognition terminals, PIN keypads, and smart locks compatible with mortise, deadbolt, and cylinder door types. These devices can operate independently or integrate directly with Akuvox intercom units to add an extra layer of security, such as combining two verification methods for a two-step entry process (for example, "Face Recognition + Card" or "Face Recognition + PIN"). The lineup is designed for multi-unit residential buildings, offices, and gated communities, and integrates into the same SmartPlus cloud ecosystem used across the rest of Akuvox's intercom products — enabling centralized management of access permissions and monitoring from a single platform.
SIP Emergency Station
A SIP Emergency Stations are specialized intercom devices built to operate in harsh or high-traffic public environments such as minesites, tunnels, highways, parking lots, amusement parks, airports, and train and bus stations. They feature vandal-resistant housings made of 316-grade stainless steel with an IK10 impact-protection rating, allowing them to withstand deliberate acts of vandalism in exposed public locations. These units typically run on a Linux operating system and provide reliable two-way audio communication over IP networks with echo cancellation, using the SIP 2.0 protocol. Certain models (such as the E21V) add an integrated camera with ONVIF support for visual monitoring alongside audio, plus an IP65 rating for full outdoor weatherproofing. Installation is generally flush-mounted, with PoE power support, and the units integrate directly with any SIP-capable PBX for immediate emergency call handling.
